Datuk Kamal Khalid is the Group Managing Director of Media Prima Berhad since 2 August 2017. He has been with Media Prima since May 2009 and had held various positions including Chief Executive Officer, Television Networks, Chief Operating Officer, Group Shared Services and Chief Operating Officer, Business Development and International.

Prior to that, he served as Head of the Communications Unit in the Prime Minister's Office for 6 years. He had also worked in the financial services sector in banking and private equity financing and at the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange (now Bursa Malaysia).

Currently, he is a member of UniKL Industry Advisory Board, Marketing Committee of Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) and sits on the Board of Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE).

He received his secondary education in MRSM Muar, Johor and graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (with Honors) Degree from the University of Nottingham, England. He was selected to become Malaysia’s Eisenhower Fellow for 2005.
